Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has named Simone Biles as its first Global Wellness Ambassador. The partnership establishes a long-term collaboration that ties the luxury brand’s wellness strategy to one of the most decorated athletes in history.

In its official announcement, the group describes the collaboration as a strategic step toward becoming a global authority on modern holistic well-being. Mandarin Oriental also stressed that true wellness combines physical strength, mental health, recovery, and balance. The press release explains that Biles will advise the Mandarin Oriental Wellness Board, contribute to new wellness programming, and support global storytelling about the brand’s approach to well-being.

Biles says she and the group share the belief that “wellness is about more than physical performance,” and highlights the importance of recovery, mental well-being, and balance in her own career. The announcement presents the appointment as part of a long-term growth strategy that centers on holistic wellness in the guest experience at Mandarin Oriental hotels and resorts.

Simone Biles’ Role As Global Wellness Ambassador

Mandarin Oriental states that Biles will collaborate with its Wellness Board, which includes specialists in lifestyle performance, meditation, movement, nutrition, and sleep. Biles will share insights from elite competition and help shape future wellness programs and guest experiences. The company also notes that she will support campaign work and global communications that present its evolved wellness strategy to current and potential customers. According to the group, Biles made her debut in the role at Mandarin Oriental, Milan, during her first visit to the city as an international sports fan.

To mark the launch of the partnership, the Milan hotel introduced Double-Double Glow, an immersive spa treatment that combines cosmetic innovation with advanced thermal techniques to regenerate skin and muscles, promoting recovery and radiance. The group explains that a deep, targeted body massage designed for toned musculature is enhanced by alternating hot and cold stones, and concludes with a high-performance facial delivering intense hydration and luminosity, amplified by cryo globes to tone and revitalize the complexion.

Separately, the Champion Chip cookie, developed in collaboration with the hotel’s culinary team, is described as a balanced sweet inspired by Biles’ approach to strength, nourishment, and enjoyment. Mandarin Oriental adds that the partnership includes a collaboration with Laureus Sport for Good to support its mission globally and states that wellness will define the next era of luxury hospitality as it expands and continues to place holistic wellbeing at the center of the guest experience.
